Community Guidelines

Last updated: 11 October 2026

Respect people and their privacy

OONITE is a nightlife community for adults aged 18 or older. Respect different identities, boundaries and choices. Do not harass, threaten, discriminate, impersonate, expose someone's identity without consent or publish private messages or precise location without permission.

Share responsibly

Publish only content you have permission to share. Do not post pornography, explicit sexual acts, exposed genitalia, sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate images, threats, scams or illegal exploitation. An adults-only audience or a sensitive-photo warning does not make prohibited content acceptable. Do not use posts or messages for spam, deceptive promotion, fraud or repeated unwanted contact. Distinguish your personal opinion from facts and do not fabricate venue information.

Contact and blocking

A Night Hello is an invitation, not an obligation. Respect a declined invitation and do not evade blocks with another account. While either account is signed in, blocking prevents both members from starting or continuing contact and normally hides each member's profile, public posts, Night Cards and Moments from the other. Public content may still be visible after signing out. Unblocking does not reopen a previous conversation.

Moment and Night Card photos are checked before public publication. Content that needs changes is not published; uncertain photos are held for review. If publication is rejected, edit your content and try again.

Reporting and review

Use the report control on a profile, Moment, Night Card or conversation. Choose the reason that best fits and provide relevant details without unnecessary private information. Report limits help prevent abuse; repeated reports about the same target do not create additional cases.

OONITE may review a report, remove or restrict content, close contact, suspend an account or dismiss a report when action is not warranted. A report does not automatically mean its subject broke a rule. View progress and the outcome in Settings → Your reports. Private information and internal handling notes are not shared there.

For a concern about a moderation decision, contact open@oonite.com with the report or content reference and a short explanation. Do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive documents.
